This dispersed collection includes the rare first issue of the first edition, without errata, of part one of Pilgrim’s Progress (1678), the first edition of part two (1684), and the first edition of another allegorical text, The Holy War (1682). The Library also holds the second edition of Bunyan’s earliest printed work, the anti-Quaker Some Gospel Truths Opened According to the Scriptures (1656).
